About us

RS Productions is an independent film and audiovisual company working across production, distribution and innovation, based in Milan. Founded in 2019 by an entrepreneurial group with long experience in media and publishing, it was built on a model new to the Italian market: bringing together, within a single company, the development and production of content, its distribution in Italy and abroad, and the technological and entrepreneurial innovation of the sector.

Production

RS Productions develops and produces feature films, documentaries and series, both in-house and in co-production with Italian and international partners, following every project from the first idea to the screen.

Distribution

The company distributes its own titles and those of third-party producers in cinemas across Italy and, through the major streaming platforms, in the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany and Japan. Handling distribution directly allows RS to accompany each title along the whole chain, from production to audience.

Innovation

Attentive to a market in constant change, where the habits of new generations and technological progress are reshaping how content is consumed, RS Productions works through studios equipped with advanced audiovisual production technology, with which it builds cross-media projects. It is also the promoter of IMMEDIATE, the first European business accelerator in the Media and Entertainment sectors: a creative and technological hub offering start-ups production tools and communication channels, alongside coaching and legal, financial and marketing support, to accelerate projects in video production, digital marketing, advertising, music, publishing, gamification and new technologies.

The model is completed by two shareholdings that cover the two ends of the chain.

Pepito Produzioni

An independent film and television production company founded in 2010 by Agostino Saccà, with a library of more than forty titles spanning feature films, television comedies and series, and documentary series. Among its successes are Hammamet and La tenerezza by Gianni Amelio, Favolacce by the D’Innocenzo brothers, winner of the Silver Bear for Best Screenplay at the 2020 Berlinale, the series Mameli – Il ragazzo che sognò l’Italia and the long-running collection of comedies Purché finisca bene for Rai Uno.

Maestro Distribution

A distribution and sales company founded in 2024, led by Claudio Rapino and part-owned by RS Productions. It operates as a content handler, managing the entire life cycle of Italian and international audiovisual products: for imported foreign films and series it finds the partners for the theatrical release and handles subsequent sales; for in-house original content it selects the most suitable national and international production partners.
