Davide Ferrario tells the story of Italo Calvino’s life to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the writer’s birth, focusing on Calvino’s connection with cities—both the “visible” ones where he lived, worked, or was inspired during his travels, and the “invisible” ones, invented for his famous book published by Einaudi in 1972.
